Experienced Lawyer (Commercial/Private Client)
We are looking for, experienced, capable and ambitious lawyers to join our Commercial and Private Client teams. We have offices in Morecambe, Lancaster and the South Lakes. The position offers the opportunity to participate in the growth and future development of our Commercial and Private Client departments.
These are full-time posts with Wright & Lord Solicitors, a progressive, friendly firm, with a fantastic history of training, developing and retaining staff.
This is your chance to work in a happy team in smart modern offices, with state-of-the-art IT systems, consultant assistance and secretarial support on hand, presenting an enviable opportunity to build your own reputation in the local area.
The Wills and Probate team provides services including but not limited to bespoke will drafting, probate and estate administrations, tax planning and trusts, power of attorney, Court of Protection work, probate disputes and inheritance claims.
Our Commercial team provides hundreds of businesses across the region with advice on selling and refinancing, trade documentation, mergers and acquisitions, commercial property transactions as well as general commercial advice.
Our generous salaries (which will be set according to prior relevant experience) is supplemented by an annual achievable bonus based on performance.
The ideal candidate will be:
- Professional and friendly with the ability to quickly build strong, productive relationships with clients and colleagues
- Able to act as an expert in the field and demonstrate their excellent knowledge
- Able to conduct networking and business development activities
- Particularly able to treat clients with compassion and explain matters in simple terms
- Able to demonstrate experience of managing a broad client caseload
