Charity 2019….

Here at Wright and Lord we pride ourselves on being part of the local community. This includes supporting local charities that we know do fantastic work for local people.

We try, each year to target a particular charity for our giving and support.

2019 has been the year for us to give our backing to  the wonderful Macmillan Nurses. The overall charity Macmillan Cancer Support has a most interesting and inspiring history and anyone who is in contact with and needs their help cannot help but  be hugely impressed by their dedication and kindness.

Wright and Lord raises funds for our charities in many ways – some weird and wonderful and some very traditional.

The Christmas Jumper day is always eagerly anticipated and creates much hilarity!

Our Senior Director Stephen Wright and his wife Sally – together with other intrepid souls – enjoy running long distances in terrible weather (yes we know – strange hobby). Their efforts raise large sums and all monies are added to the pot. Watch this space for a “Great North Run Report”!
